Books I'm Reading This Month

If you read my Books I've Read in Q1 post, then you know that one of my goals for 2018 is to read 24 books this year, or two books a month. In the first quarter of this year I wasn't able to read two books every month, but I did end up reading six books in total to reach my goal. I haven't been so lucky this quarter.

This quarter I've only read two books so far - Wholeness by Toure Roberts and Unglued by Lysa Terkeurst. I will do another summary post at the end of the month. In order to reach my goal of six books per quarter, I need to read four more books by the end of June. Sounds impossible right? Not necessarily...

I'm a pretty fast reader and for the past few weeks I have been going to Barnes & Noble on Saturday mornings and reading. Last month I went and read Wholeness in one sitting. For the people who are boujie on a budget like me, this also allows you to save money because you don't have to buy the book lol! I always take notes on the books I'm reading whether I purchase them or not, so I can just look at my notes if there's ever an idea I want to revisit.

So that's my plan for reading four books by the end of the month. Below are the books that I am planning on reading:

Purpose Awakening by Toure Roberts

How to Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck by Avery Breyer

Get Over Your Damn Self: The No-BS Blueprint to Building a Life-Changing Business by Romi Neustadt

A Winning Brand: How to Build a Powerful, Personal Brand in Today's Modern, Digital World by Kraig Kleeman

What books have you read this year? Do you have a certain amount you want to read by the end of the year? Do you enjoy fiction, non-fiction, or self help books?
